Welcome to Flintshire
Neighbourhood Watch
Association Website

Graham Harper
Chairman of Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch

“Thank you for connecting to Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch website. Our association supports 'good neighbours' in taking responsibility for the safety, well-being and quality of life of local people in their own community.

We work closely with the North Wales Police in combating crime and the fear of crime as well as seeking to 'watch out' for vulnerable people such as those who are older, disabled or children.

The Association helps by promoting interest in local communities, providing a wide network of volunteers as well as training and information about forming and running local groups. Please keep in touch with us.”

Celebrating 25 Years
Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch - 25 Years Logo

April 2012 marks 25 years of
Flintshire Neighbourhood
Watch Association.

Graham Harper, Chairman of the Association said: "Our work has always been about Good Neighbours making a commitment to each other, the place they live and the positive values that underpin community life. The Association and its members have achieved much over the years, with thousands of people, homes, farms, schools, businesses, holiday areas joining in to make their environments better for everyone.

The Board of Governors wishes to mark its 25th anniversary by celebrating the achievements of individuals that have made an important and positive difference in their community. We know there are many incredible ‘Good Neighbours’ whose efforts are greatly appreciated. Consequently we are asking residents of Flintshire & Wrexham to nominate people who have made particular contributions to helping make their area a safer and better place to live, work and visit".

What the Association Does

Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch Association is an established charitable organization contributing to reducing crime and disorder in Flintshire.

What we do...
Neighbourhood Watch is for everyone. It's about bringing people closer together and involving them in local life. A stronger community spirit can grow back as people get to know each other & look out for one another.

Building a better quality of life...
There is more to neighbourhood watch than protecting homes & property against burglary. By working together, neighbours can help reduce all sorts of local crimes. They can also take action to improve their environment by getting something done about things like vandalism, graffiti, poor lighting and a lack of local amenities.

As well as making the neighbourhood a better place to live and work in, tackling local problems and concerns will help reassure residents and make them less fearful of crime.
